Sofia is a Mexican writer. She spent her childhood and adolescence in Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. She completed her undergraduate and doctorate degrees in psychology at the University of Queensland, in Australia.

Sofia has been writing since the age of nine, when her godmother gave her a journal for Christmas.
In 2013, she found a passion for writing fiction novels and hasn't stopped since. She is inspired by strong women, especially Latin American women, pre and post-Colonial history, and ancient myths and stories.
